Course Description
This course examines the kernel tools available for use in analyzing kernel problems with the hp Tru64 UNIX operating system.
Tools discussed include: dbx, kdbx, kdebug, ikdebug, ladebug, cscope, crash, CDA, and others. Examples using the tools and exercises are included.
Who Should Attend
Service engineers who support hp Tru64 UNIX, and operating system and layered product engineers.
Prerequisites
Students should have the experience and knowledge provided by:
- U3631S - Utilities and Commands
- U3632S - System Administration
Students should be able to read and understand C language programs and C data structure representations.
